My partner and I stayed at Casa La Eliana for two nights during our trip to Colombia. The location was perfect, just a 5-minute walk from the central square and tourist shops. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially Jesus, the owner, who gave us great advice about the area. The room was spacious and clean, and we loved the balcony for the beautiful views. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the beds were comfy. We also enjoyed the delicious curries from the hotel's restaurant. we had a fantastic stay at Casa La Eliana.
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

We got great value for our money at Casa La Eliana. The room was comfortable with amazing views, and the location was quiet but still close to the plaza. The staff, especially Jesus the owner, were incredibly friendly and helpful.
Breakfast delights, but it could be better with more variety.

The hostel is conveniently located near the bus station, providing easy access to transportation. the dorm rooms offer modern facilities, including private bathrooms with showers and bunk beds with privacy curtains. the friendly staff provides helpful suggestions and orientations for tours and transportation. the kitchen is well-equipped, allowing guests to cook their own meals if desired.
Some guests mentioned that the walls of the building were thin, leading to noise from other rooms being easily heard.

The beds at this place were seriously amazing. I've stayed in a lot of hostels, but none of them compare to the comfort of these beds. And don't even get me started on the showers – they were out of this world! Seriously the best showers I've ever had at a hostel. Plus, the location of the hostel was perfect. It was just a short walk to the bus terminal and not too far from the central plaza. Super convenient!
One thing I didn't love about this place was the lack of a kitchen available for guests. It would have been nice to be able to cook my own meals and save a little money.

I recently stayed at Casa La Eliana for two nights while exploring the area. The 4 bed dorm rooms were spacious and the beds were incredibly comfortable, with the best mattress I've ever slept on! The curtain provided privacy, and the bathroom was clean with an amazing shower. The water pressure was great and the water was hot. The hotel also has a beautiful garden with a great sitting area, perfect for relaxing. The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the main square and close to the bus station. There's also a good and affordable bakery just two blocks away. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the owner, Jesus, spoke perfect English and provided us with a helpful map. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend Casa La Eliana.
I do recommend this hotel.

Great value for money with a clean and comfortable room, complete with a balcony and reliable WiFi. The location was ideal, just a short walk from the town center and bus station. The staff, especially Jesus, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, even cooking up some amazing curries for us.
Breakfast selection could be improved with a wider variety of options.

Lovely room and helpful staff. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff went out of their way to assist us. The Indian restaurant on site was a great bonus, offering delicious food for our meals. the hostel was located in a convenient spot, within walking distance of the town center and the bus station.
There was some noise from the family living in the hostel during the day, which made it difficult to have a peaceful atmosphere for work or relaxation. Another drawback was the issue with the bathroom tap on the second floor, which was leaking.

One small issue, the bedsheets were not properly cleaned.

We had an amazing time during our romantic escape! the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, giving us all the information we needed for a perfect stay. the location was ideal, very close to the main square and all the attractions. Plus, the apartment was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a beautiful balcony where we could relax and enjoy the view.
The lack of safety deposit boxes in the rooms. Although the area is safe, we would have felt more at ease knowing our belongings were secure.

Casa Eliana felt more like a boutique hotel than a typical hostel. the dorms were small, with only 4 beds, and there were also private rooms available. the layout of the hostel, resembling a restaurant, added to the overall charm. the staff were amazing and provided useful advice about the town. I especially enjoyed the delicious food served in the restaurant, including British-style curry and Colombian dishes like Ajiaco. The owner, Jesus, was super friendly and helpful, making my stay even better. Cons: Nothing, all good 😊.

. Great hot showers, free towel, and soap. Free coffee and tea all day, perfect for a caffeine boost. Excellent WiFi, no worries about staying connected. Less than five minutes to the bus station, convenient for exploring the city.
Washing costs 15.000 COP, a bit pricey if you don't have many clothes. . Not allowed to use the kitchen, although dishes are provided if needed.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
